Indianapolis School Students to Receive High Fives

A group of volunteers plan on encouraging students in the simplest way possible… a high five.

Last year students around Indiana were greeted with a high five line. This year the high fivers will concentrate their efforts on Indianapolis Public Schools, but organizers hope the results will be the same.

The high five rallies also include motivational assemblies.

Andrew is a technology teacher at KIPP Indy College Prep. He is graduate of the University of Kentucky and a Teach for America Alum. Andrew just recently finished his commitment as a Teach Plus Policy fellow, and he is looking forward to putting the skills he's learned to good use.
