Indiana Releases Free and Reduced Lunch Pricing Guidelines

By Andrew Pillow

Indiana released the pricing guidelines around free and reduced lunch. Students from households that meet the federal guidelines are able to receive free and reduced lunch.

Schools that have at least 40% of their student body receiving free and reduced lunch are eligible to provide free lunch to all of their students. Representative Todd Rokita is trying to change that percentage to 60%.

It also includes provisions for homeless, foster, and migrant children.
