Indianapolis DOE Announces Recipients of Career and Technical Education Rural Grant

By Andrew Pillow

The Career and Technical Education Rural Grants are designed to support and expand career and technical education in rural areas.

Today the recipients of those grants were announced. Most of the recipients were career centers and community colleges.

This is keeping in step with Indiana’s focus on the expansion of career training.

“Every student should have the opportunity to participate in high-quality career and technical education courses no matter where they live in the state,” said Glenda Ritz, Indiana’s Superintendent of Public Instruction.
